Village Trick or Treat Guidelines
The health department has given the go ahead to have trick-or-treating. You can view the instructions from the health department HERE. As you can see, trick- or- treating will be from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, October 31st. It has been recommended that all communities in the county have it at the same time and community leaders are asking that families trick-or-treat in their own community to cut down large amounts of people in one area. Therefore, trick-or-treating will be on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm here in the Village of North Kingsville.
The Village will not be having trunk –or- treating at the Village Hall. The police officers and firemen will also not be handing out candy. The officers will be patrolling for safety measures only. Chief Krenisky, Chief Hubbard, and myself have agreed that we do want to put any of the officers or firemen at risk therefore this year our first responders will not be handing out any candy. Fire Station 1 will also not be handing out cider, donuts, and popcorn. We ask that if you do decide to take your children trick-or-treating or you hand out candy that you practice social distancing and your wear a mask recommended for COVID-19. We also ask that you follow the preventative measures the Health Department has outlined in the attached order.
Thank you and be safe.
